Who We Are
Type A Creative Solutions, LLC was started by Cali Stefanos in January 2020 as a way to help small businesses, startups, and solopreneurs reach their creative potential.
Cali was eager to shift gears from working within global organizations after seeing friends and family launch startups, but struggle to onboard investors & clients despite providing great offerings. A little more digging revealed a lack of any strategic marketing approach and little-to-no investment in visual identity and marketing materials (the plain black & white PowerPoint pitch decks without any branding convinced her she was onto something).
She realized the absence of brand & marketing strategy stemmed from a lack of knowledge surrounding the importance that brand strategy can play in the success of a company. That knowledge gap, combined with the thinking that professional design support couldn’t fit into the budget, was preventing these companies from connecting with their audience in a meaningful way.
And so, Type A was born! Eager to share her knowledge to help companies succeed, Cali strives to help cultivate her clients’ confidence that comes with having a strategic, customer-focused brand.

Experience
Cali Stefanos is a Chicago-based graphic designer with 10+ years of experience. After working as an in-house designer for 6 years, Cali wanted to gain a more in-depth understanding of the overall marketing process to better serve her clients. She received an M.S. in Marketing in 2019 and uses a strategy-based approach to design.
Cali has worked for various publications, freelance clients, and professional service companies throughout her career. Her experience across industries has helped her understand the importance of design strategy to identify design needs of different industries and audiences.
